Traveller women at CEART go to Paris

Recently the teachers at CEART (Centre of Education and Resourse for Travellers) in Crinion Park, Wicklow Town, took 13 of their women students for an educational trip to Paris in France. They left on the 7th of June and stayed for three nights in Paris. This was a real eye opener for the women, most of whom have never been outside of Ireland before. During their stay they got to see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Arc de Triumph and a trip down
the river Seine. The temperatures reached a staggering 35 degrees! while the women were in Paris. This trip was partly funded by Co Wicklow VEC. The women got a good insight into the lifestyle and culture of French people by visiting open markets and dining out eating french cusine. A great time was had by all and the women look forward to more educational trips abroad in the future.
