Call for tenders on Three Studies concerning aspects of the teaching of languages in Europe.

On May 24 the Language Policy Unit of the European Commission published a call for tenders on "Three Studies concerning aspects of the teaching of languages in Europe".

This Call was published in the Official Journal
(Ref. OJ S 100 24-05-2003).

The three areas of focus are:

Lot 1: Classroom practices - an overview of most common methods used to teach languages in secondary education (ISCED 2-3) in Europe;

Lot 2: Development of a Common Profile for Language Teachers in Europe ;

Lot 3: Teaching languages to learners with special needs (ISCED 1-2).
