Working Against Poverty Grants Scheme At the request of the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, the Combat Poverty Agency will administer the Working Against Poverty Grants Scheme until the end of 2003. As it is feasible to have only one call for applications to the scheme before the end of the year, Combat Poverty invites applications for larger scale projects. Funding of €20,000 to €24,000 is available to support up to 10 projects of exceptional quality on a once-off basis. Applications can be made under any one of the four strands of the scheme. Click on the links below for details about the strands and an application form. The remainder of the funding available under this grants scheme will be awarded in the usual way. Applicants can request funding up to €13,000. The closing date for all applications is Thursday 18th September 2003. For general enquiries on the grants scheme, contact Annmarie Wallace at 01 602 6623, email grants@cpa.ie For further information on large scale projects, please contact Fidelma Joyce, Policy Liaison Officer at 01 602 6630, email joycef@cpa.ie
