RTE Traveller Internship

Pavee Point and RTE are offering an internship for a Traveller to work in radio and television for one year at RTE studios. The successful applicant will be provided with a mentor/trainer and will be given experience in research, presentation, sound recording, editing and programme production as well as other skills. The successful candidate will be employed by Pavee Point and will attend a weekly meeting there. The rest of the working week will be based at or out of the RTE studios in Donnybrook.

Pavee Point and RTE are hosting an Open Day at Pavee Point Travellers Centre to provide information on the RTE internship for Travellers which is due to start in late June.

The Open Day will be held on Thursday, 22nd May from 10 am to 2pm at Pavee Point, 46 North Great Charles Street, Dublin 1. Travellers who are interested in applying for this position can do so on this day. The closing date for applications is Friday, May 30th, 2003.
