Professional facilitator: Life Coaching Workshops:

According to Heather Bourke:

"I worked as a social worker for many years and quite a lot with young people so I’m very familiar with the needs of that client group and also with the stresses of working in that field. I now work as a professional life coach. I work with groups and individuals around personal and professional development and transition management. My work is very broad ranging and I design different interventions for different groups with different needs. I facilitate workshops and run training events in variety of areas including teambuilding, personal effectiveness, work/life balance etc. A lot of my work is about motivating and empowering people to achieve their full potential by developing their self-belief and supporting them to follow through on their goals. I have a particular interest in the importance of keeping people such as youth workers or people who work in social services generally in good shape for their own well being but also because it means clients and communities also benefit in the long run."

  1. Thriving or Surviving’, a workshop that encourages people to very proactively make the most of their jobs and build a very real and sustainable strategy to get more enjoyment and productivity from work and life.
  2. A Day of Creative Fun and Play for Adults, this can either be used purely as a day out for staff to de-stress and relax or it can be used as a teambuilding day or as an ideas workshop to learn new creative play activities to use with young people.
  3. Create the Life You Really Want’, a day to review where you’re at in your life, what you really want and how to go about getting that.
