(Senior Traveller Training Centre)

The READ Centre, Lisnamult, Roscommon opened its doors on the 15th November 2001. The building was finally completed in March 2002 and was officially opened by Mary Harney on 22nd April 2002. The centre caters for 24 trainees both male and female. This scheme is funded by the Department of Education and Science and The National Development Plan.

Mission Statement:

To foster the full education and development of each student/trainee in a conducive environment, in preparation for a more positive future.

Aims:

• Foster the full educational development of each student

• Create and maintain an environment which will enable students to realise their full potential.
