1) Feedback from Conference on 26th February
A total of 157 attended the conference held in the Lynch Green Isle Hotel on 26th February. The day was extremely successful and gave people a great opportunity for networking. There were four workshops as follows:
a) Quality Assurance and Impact for Trainers
28 attended this workshop and as a result the Evening Meeting on 15th June has been arranged.
b) Evaluation - How to Measure the learning was attended by 45 persons and as a result further programmes will be put together on this topic.
c) Enhance Performance by moving from Equality to Diversity
37 people attended this workshop and as a result a Special Interest Group has been established and already held their first meeting through the TRED project.
d) Quality Assurance Approach for Higher Education and Training Programmes was attended by 20 persons and this topic has been incorporated in the agenda for the meeting on 15th June.

2) Evening Meeting on 15th June
A meeting has been arranged for members of the Trainers Network for the evening of 15th June starting at 6 pm. in the DIT, Aungier Street which will address the subject of the Registration Process for Training Providers under FETAC and HETAC. The evening is kindly being hosted by Ms. Ann Murphy of DIT and refreshments will be served at 6 pm.- There is no fee to Trainers Network members for attendance at this meeting. The proposed agenda for the evening is as follows:

We would hope that as many of the TN members as possible will attend this meeting, a registration form is attached to this email, please complete it and return it to us, if you experience any problems with it, please contact us directly. We need to know the numbers for the refreshments etc. The form is in text format as some systems do not accept word files readily. If you have not become a member of the Trainers Network yet, and wish to do so, please complete the form on the website at www.trainersnetwork.org and send it in with your 50.00 euro fee for the year.

3) Call for proposals under EQUAL II
As you may be aware, the Trainers Network is currently a partner in an EQUAL project called TRED. The EU has announced a call for proposals from interested parties who wish to set up a project under the next EQUAL initiative. If anyone has any ideas which can be put forward to the board for this call, please contact us.
A copy of the TRED project annual report will sent to all TN members over the next week.

4) SIG on Equality and Diversity
This Special Interest Group will hold its next meeting in September, full details will be sent out before then.
