• Ballygar Training Centre are holding an exhibition of culture and skills on the 7th of December from 11am to 1pm: the day will consist of an exhibition of work from Ballygar Training Centre, children’s art, a video and talk on Traveller culture and a demonstration of copper work by a Traveller man. • Navan Travellers Workshop Ltd is hosting its 20th Anniversary Open Day today - the Workshop will be open to visitors from 11am with official presentations beginning at 1pm. Events on the day include: the official opening of the new outdoor playgroup and the unveiling of their new website www.travellerheritage.ie

• International Literacy Day (ILD) is a celebration for all involved in adult literacy. It will take place on Saturday 26th November in the Gresham Metropole Hotel, Cork between 10.30am - 4pm. Visit the NALA website for more details.
• Do you know what you saw? an artwork exhibition by Andrew Vickery goes on show from the 1st November to the 16th December at the Tallaght Community Arts Centre. The exhibition is accompanied by a series of workshops with St. Basil’s Traveller Group. Work resulting from these workshops will be exhibited in May 2006.
