Courses and Curriculum The STTC programme offers a holistic approach to learning embracing a broad, balanced curriculum, with a emphasis on achieving accreditation, while ensuring the culture of the Travelling Community is acknowledged and celebrated within the programme. Learners are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and to become independent thinkers. The centre provides Traveller and Youthreach training. Youthreach is confined to people who are 15 to 18 years of age. Travellers training starts at 15 years of age with no upper age limit. FETAC Level 3 and 4 modules are offered in a range of subjects which include Crafts, Art, Woodwork, Metalwork, Office skills, Computing, Food Studies, Childcare, Drama, Communications, Maths, Personal Effectiveness, Personal and Inter-personal skills, and all participants undertake work experience placements.
