Target : Youth leaders and youth workers interested in running a Causeway Youth or Contact Exchange, and are looking for partners. Working directly with young people aged 13-25 years

Aim’s of the contact making seminar:
· Contact making between youth leaders and youth workers from; Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England & Wales
· Information about exchanges within Causeway and funding opportunities
· Develop projects & ideas for exchanges with young people
· Prepare quality Causeway projects & applications for the deadline 1st April 2006, covering exchange activities for Summer 2006.

· Learning new skills and sharing your experiences.

Cost: Leargas will pay for all training, hosting and Programme costs and The Connect Youth will pay for UK participants Sending costs.

Content: During the event participants will be brought through a series of practical activities which will give them greater insight into good practice in Causeway youth exchanges.

Participants will learn the basics in developing an exchange programme of activities, what is required and how to present it in your funding application

Applications: Places are limited at this event. Participants Must arrive at the venue by 12.00pm on the 4th and departure after 5.00pm on the 6th. Participants must attend the full duration of the event.
